Work Together

Models & Collaborations

Looking to build or refresh your portfolio? I'm always open to working with new and experienced models — especially those newer to modelling — on collaborative shoots that build both our portfolios: portrait, fashion, editorial or creative concept work.

Most collaborations run on a TFP basis (Time For Prints/Portfolio) — you get a set of edited, high-quality images for your portfolio, and I get to develop new creative work. Paid shoots are also available depending on the concept and usage.

  • Suitable for new faces and experienced models alike
  • Shot on Nikon Z6III / D850, edited and delivered digitally
  • Location or studio setup discussed together beforehand
  • Clear agreement on usage and image rights before shooting
  • A model release form is signed by both parties before or on the day of the shoot, confirming what the images can be used for

Behind the Camera

About Jos

I started out shooting as a hobby and I'm now moving into semi-professional photography — covering portraits, landscapes, architecture, sports, nature, family sessions, headshots and wall art prints, working from home in Polstead, Suffolk and on location.

From 2006 to 2025 I served as a police officer with the Metropolitan Police in London, including time on Response Teams and Safer Neighbourhood policing, building my photography skills and business alongside the job before retiring to focus on it full-time. It's a background that's given me a sharp eye for detail, plenty of patience, and a knack for putting people at ease in front of the camera — all of which I bring to every session today.

Every session is shot on Nikon Z6III and D850, giving me the range to move between fast-paced sports and motorsport action and considered, detailed landscape and portrait work.

Payment & Deposits

Accepted methods: Bank transfer, or debit/credit card by secure payment link (Visa & Mastercard accepted — American Express is not accepted). Payment details are sent once your booking is confirmed.

Booking: a deposit is required to secure your date, with the remaining balance due before or on the day of the shoot. Full payment may be required for shorter sessions.

Cancellations: deposits are non-refundable once a booking has been confirmed, including in the event of cancellation by the client.

A Bit of Local History

Polstead, Suffolk

Polstead is a small Suffolk village with roots going back to the Domesday Book, but it's best known for one of England's most notorious true-crime stories: the Red Barn Murder. In May 1827, local girl Maria Marten was murdered by William Corder in a barn on the edge of the village, after the pair had arranged to meet before eloping. Corder wrote home claiming Maria was well and living happily — until her stepmother's unsettling dream led searchers to the barn a year later, and the body was found.

The case gripped the nation. Corder was tried and hanged at Bury St Edmunds in 1828, and the story went on to inspire countless plays, ballads and melodramas that are still performed today — making Polstead one of the most talked-about villages in Suffolk's history.
